So, you’ve got friends on Aol Instant Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messger, Kitchen Sink Instant Messanger, and so on. You’ve got to have 12 different messenger programs to keep the lines open and more often than not, you just use the one that the majority of your friends use.

Well, now you can use just one thanks to a program called Pidgin. (As in “messenger pidgin”. Get it?? Bwahaha! Ok, I’m done).

All these chat programs are just as much fun as one pooping pidgin.

Not only does it allow you to sign into almost any chat program, but it also doesn’t have all that extra crap that works to slow down your computer.

In addition to AIM, Yahoo , and Myspace, it also supports a bajillion others, most of which are probably only used by people in the jungles of Idaho.  These include:

Groupwise
ICQ
IRC
MSN

SILC
SIMPLE
