SeeqPod: Use the Internet as Your Personal Music Library

March 21st, 2009

What is up with "pod" beind appended to everything? Damn you, Apple!

Most of us are familiar with the way that internet radio works.  For the most part, you listen to what you’re served, and if you’re just not feeling that song and you’re out of skips, then response from the station is “you’re GONNA listen and you’re GONNA like it!”  But sometimes, you just feel like listening to a particular band or maybe just a particular set of songs.  Seeqpod to the rescue!

The bastard child of Google, YouTube, and Hugh Jackman

Seeqpod.com is one of the most unique music sites you will come across.  There is no sign up required.  Like Google, simply type in the name of a band or song and it will produce a list of results.  Like YouTube add songs to the playlist and start listening.  Want to mix it up a bit?  Then continue searching and add to your playlist.  And like Hugh Jackman, it’s kinda hairy and has starred as Wolverine in several movies.

Rockin it oldschool with Metallica, Tool, and Julie Andrews!

If you don’t feel like reating an account, then you can just create a new list every time you sign in.  However, signing up give you the option to save your playlists.  Cool stuff, right?  You know it is!
