- Setting Up Easy Hibernation: Vista

I prefer to make hibernation as easy as possible, by setting my power button as the trigger. Here is how you create this set up.
Step 1) Open your Start Menu, and click Control Panel.
Step 2) In the Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound.
Step 3) Click the Change what the power buttons do sub option under Power Options.
Step 4) This is a picture of my laptop’s set up. Select “Hibernate” from the drop down options.
Step 5) Click Save Changes to apply the change.
Now, go enjoy the ease of use of this new arrangement!
